Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), sometimes called Cold Laser or Photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive treatment using specific wavelengths and frequencies of light to stimulate cells.  This can help to reduce healing time, improve circulation and reduce swelling and pain. 

Laser can be used to treat:

• Cuts or wounds

• Muscle, ligament or tendon injuries

• Sprains or strains

• Muscle tension

• Reduce inflammation

• Post-surgical wounds

• Splints

• Laminitis

• Assist in fracture healing

• Arthritis

• Back pain

Laser is not painful and although most of my human patients report not feeling anything, for animals, it is quite the opposite. In fact, most horses and dogs will begin to fall asleep during treatment!
